Dmitriy Shirganov

Has been the head trainer and owner of Legend Muay Thai and Legend Fight Team for over three years. In that short time, he has successfully trained some of the top amateurs in North America, giving Florida Muay Thai a place in the national arena.

His background traces back to 93′ when he initially started training karate in Moscow, Russia as a child. Continuing his journey in the US in 94′, he joined a Hand-to-Hand Combat Karate dojo, where he has seen much success. Through the years leading up to 98′, he has trained in several discipline including Boxing, Kickboxing and Kyokushin Karate, slowly transitioning in to Muay Thai in early 98′. Muay Thai is where Coach Dmitriy found his passion.

His home for the majority of his active career was at Borodin’s Gym in Brooklyn, NY; a well known and respected gym on the global circuit. It is at this gym where Coach Dmitriy was developed in to the fighter he became known for; occasionally training side by side with K-1 fighters and legends, such as Peter The Dutch Lumberjack Aerts and other pro elite Russian and European fighters. His accomplishments include numerous Muay Thai and Kickboxing titles ranging from Northeastern to World. In 2012 he relocated to West Palm Beach, FL; immediately observing the deficit of high level stand-up training facilities. The Legend Fight Team initiative was born.
